Make a Portable Plywood Table with PVC Legs?

I want to make a portable table with PVC legs, plywood top. The only problem is the flanges. I can only find very expensive ones near me and on the internet. Is there a site that sells them cheaply? I just need a serviceable table for a yard sale and don’t want to spend a fortune on it.

Buy the brackets for making saw horses at Menards or another one of those places. Two sets of brackets and three 2x4s to make the legs and spreaders then just rest your plywood on top. Been done that way for years and years. best part is you can take the whole thing apart and store it flat to use again.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a good digital camera?

I’ve been using Kodak for a long time now and am needing a new camera, but I just wondered if there was an affordable company out there that made cameras that are reliable, portable, and good for a teenager to use on a near constant basis. Where can I buy a thin, small, and portable TV that does doesn’t receive channels?

What I mean by the question is where can I buy a thin and small portable TV that is just like a TV for video games. I do not want a portable TV that will receive TV channels. Please also give all types you can find: cheap, expensive, thick (but not too thick), thin, large (I consider large to be getting up to like 9 or 10 inches), small–just everything you can find.
From looking at some of the answers, I want a portable monitor with A/V input(s) and with the ability to run off batteries. If possible, I would like it to have a 7″ to 13″ screen while still being about 3/8″ thin or thinner. (The thinner, the better.)

Anyone on here suffer with severe upper Back Pain?

Can’t stand it any more. It’s driving me nuts. Get it worst when im sat in the car for too long, or at the lap top or tv. Even washing up. I admit to bad posture over the years and the fact that i carried 5 children so it has been around for a few years. Lately it has got progressively worse.
But the absolute worst is when i give holistic therapies to other people.
I gave three Full Body massages this afternoon and i’m in agony. Laid on the floor for an hour. Wen’t on an inversion table, sat on a shiatsu Massage Chair, did an hour of tai chi and had my youngest walk up and down my back. No help. This is very severe and i don’t want to give up my job as i love helping others so much.Is there anything i can do or have done that actually works?

Is it possible that you have such tight rhomboids that you have pulled your entire upper back in to a full on tension mode?
Talk to your doctor about trying some muscle relaxants as a trial to see if they help your upper back at all. You may also need some Physical Therapy. Have you tried taking any anti inflammatories?
You may also want to get not just xrays but perhaps an MRI or CAT scan to check and make sure that you don’t have nerve impingement.
I’d hold off on getting a chiropratic adjustment until after seeing a doc about this.
I have horrible lower and mid back pain, so I understand how crazy making it can be. Good luck to you.

What is the best way to cool a closed-in room?

I will be doing massages in a room that has NO ventilation and no windows. I am looking for an economical way to cool/airate the room so it is not so stifling. A simple fan will not cut it, but from what I’ve seen, portable air conditioners are outrageously expensive. Any ideas?

You can get a wall unit AC for relatively cheap, but you’ll have to cut and frame out a hole in the wall for it. That may be more than you can do. You can also get a stand alone unit that just has a small exhaust vent like a dryer has. You can get those for around $300. I would say to go to a fabric store, look for some sorta heavy fabric, sew it up so it will fit around your spa, and attach velcro to both.

I am debating if I could put my pt spa in my trailer. I wonder if the moisture from it would hurt my home.

Hot tubs and spas put out alot of moisture when the cover is off, which could lead to mold/mildew issues in your home, depending on not only the size of the tub but also the size of your home. If you must install it indoors, you should have a dehumidifier in the same room as the tub, or at the very least a vented fan.

You also have to consider the weight of the tub when filled with water and make sure that your home can handle the load.

Back Pain and 7.5 mos pregnant?

I have really bad back pain, it’s mostly my tailbone and I don’t know how to get rid of it. I haven’t slipped or fallen so I can’t figure out why it hurts so much. It seems to hurt most when I’m lying down. I thought I was doing everything right, I lie on my side and use a pillow between my knees.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and I’m experiencing similar pains, also in my pelvic area and especially when lying down and getting up from lying down. This is my second pregnancy so I know that for me these are normal pregnancy pains. I’ve asked the doctor about it during my first pregnancy and this one and he says it’s all normal, just the baby putting pressure in certain places and just the fact that the third trimester can be very uncomfortable. You kind of just have to deal with it, it sucks but the end of pregnancy is just like that for most women. Good luck and congrats!

EDIT: It also could be sciatica, my son always kicked me in awkward spots and it hurt so bad my legs would give out sometimes, so be careful!
