I’m 17-years-old and extremely stressed. There’s alot of problems in my family (to name just one: my dad is abusive) and I’m also stressed from school (getting good grades at a UC). So my mental health is basically blah and on top of that I have physical problems:
I’m on my cycle now and the cramps are BAD. Today I was escorted to the emergency room because my menstrual blood stopped flowing and I almost passed out. The pain was excruciating And now I’m extremely weak, especially my lower abdomen and my lower back is killing me (b/c of my period probably). Plus I still have cramps now.
And for years I have had recurring back aches because of my pillow/bed. I change my pillow once in a while but the back pains still come once in a while.
My mom is not talking to me so I can’t go to her. I pretty much have to find solutions on my own. I think the best thing for me now is to get a Back Massage to relax and deal w/ the aches
What do you have to loose? The back massage will either work, or it will not, but you will not know unless you have one. Best of Luck
Massage Pillow
Pregnant and using massage pillow, is it safe?
I bought a massage pillow yesterday, which i need to soothe my aching lower back. I’ve had this Back Pain since i conceived 12 weeks ago. It uses batteries and vibrates each time i touch it with my back, it feels so good and relieving but i don’t know if the vibration is good for the unborn baby.
Yes, it’s perfectly safe. Your baby is well-insulated and well-padded, and it would take a level of vibration that is uncomfortable to you before your baby would be affected. Enjoy.
Head Neck Why is the back of my cats head and neck sweaty?

Head Neck
I have been suffering from Head,Neck, and Back Pain since yesterday, what can be causing this?
I carried a heavy backpack yesterday for about 20minutes, then after I got home and got this sudden weird pain in my back, neck and head..
The pain in my back is mostly my shoulder blades and lower back area, my neck feels mostly strained, but there is some neck pain as well, and I have been suffering from a very mild headache.. All this pain started yesterday.
What should I do?
I am a 19 year old male.
Lots of things can cause neck and back pain. Especially bad posture. Lifting a heavy backpack day in and day out can be a culprit. Make sure you back pack is no more than 15% of your body weight. When you carry your back pack, make sure that you are carrying it on both shoulders.
Also, you are probably a student. Watch your posture while you study. If you spend copious amounts of time in front of the computer, make sure you the area is ergonomically designed. Changing your chair height, computer angle, distance from eye to screen- these simple changes don’t cost anything and are easy to do. When you are studying watch that you neck is not in constant flexion. Finally, don’t slouch, not good for your posture.
Hope this helps.
What is the Burning Sensation Between my shoulder blades:
Neck Massager Are there any home remedies for a pulled muscle in the neck?
I pulled a muscle in my neck and have went to the chiropracter, tried heat & ice, brought a Dr.Hoe’s double massager off TV for $150 (which I am returning because it doesn’t work).
It seems nothing is taking the pain and stiffness away. Does anyone know of anything I can do?
It has been 3 weeks so waiting it out isn’t working.
heating pad and a wet towel has worked for me. You can’t get rid of all the pain but you can lessen it to a more liveable level.
Neck Massager
What is a good Massager for my GF to use on my neck?
I keep all my tension in my neck and often get sore/stiff necks. My girlfriend is great and usually offers to massage my neck, but she’s not very good and I don’t want to critique her while she is doing me a favor. Is there a good and easy to use massager that she can use on me?
I am 35, I have been having shoulder pains, but a shoulder MRI revealed nothing. I also have chronic neck and upper Back Pain and migraines. Lately, the pain in my shoulder has moved to my deltoids and down my arm. I had a Cervical Spine MRI and it showed that I have a straightened lordosis (curve in neck) and a mild bulging disk at C4-C5. I am in a great deal of pain. What can be done for this? Will lifting heavy things (50lbs.) cause a problem?
Strongly suggest seeing a physical therapist. You need to be educated as to what can and cannot be done with regards to the neck. Lifting fifty pounds may not be the best thing for you but if it is part of your job there are ways to strengthen the upper body and neck to deal with this. There are techniques to address the problems you have with therapy. Without examining you it would not be prudent to give any further advice. The loss of curve in the neck is usually from strong muscular spasms and with therapy this can be regained.
Cervical Neck
Does cervical traction work if the reason for my straight neck is muscle spasm?
My neck is only straight b/c i injured myself in a whiplash. muscle relaxers dont work. so is cervical traction gonna do anything if the reason for my neck is muscular and not structural?
Cervical traction is a process which is used to realign or shift injured parts of the spine.Cervical traction can also be done at home.

Neck Scalp
Eczema on my scalp lower by my neck?
Anyone have Eczema and know what I can do to clear it up. I know there is no cure for it. But it is at the base of my hair line, so it is hard to rub lotion in there, I have thick hair. It gets really itchy at times like after I was my hair, and sometimes it doesn’t bother me. I may go to the Doctor but I was wondering if anyone had some pointers?
Hello there. I suggest that you should try anti-eczema cream/spray combo from Champori.com It is herbal (steroid-free) and works better and faster on my eczema than anything else I tried: I haven’t had a relapse for more than a year now after only a couple weeks of treatment.
Best,
Bernadette

Im 12 years old and i went on a trip with my friend to a beach house and this guy was there and he was in the same beach house as us. His name is Austin and hes 12 also. He was there because my friends mom invited her friend and that is her oldest son..anyways!…Does he like me??
Here r some signs:
-Massaged my feet with this massager thingy that vibrates.
-Always sits next 2 me on the couch.
-Puts his hand on my shoulder a lot
-When we go to the pool we always have water fights and they last FOREVER!
-When i was sitting on the stairs he took my hands and helped me down the stairs. And was like come on come on and was laughing!
Those r some of the signes. My friend has known him since she was like 1 year old and when he was massaging my feet with that vibrater thingy she was like ” ohhh austin has a crush” and he didnt say anything, And then she was like “Austin, I know you, When u say something like nuuh u like her but if u dont say anything u do like her!”
aw, he is soo sweet =D
i wish there was a guy likee thatt in my school =D
yes, he definately likes uu!
Shoulder Massager
Do you think this guy is a molester?
Ok I go to a spa once a week and my massager is a young male adult (I’d say about 22 years old). I’m 15, but whenever he rubs my shoulders he slowly moves down to the breasts and starts squeezing them. Molester or part of his job?
I was trained in massage, & that was a HUGE NO NO!!!!!!! In fact we were all trained (men & women massage students alike) to avoid even coming close to doing that, even if a woman wanted this done, it would still be a huge wrong & against the law!
Not only is this guy a pedophile pig, but he’s already crossed the line. PLEASE don’t just not go back to him, but report him. You can report him anonymously if you’re worried about it, but you have to report him!!!!! (Even if you were 35, this little move of his is 100% WRONG!) Tell your mom, tell the police, tell someone, but don’t let him get away with doing this again to you or anyone else! PLEASE!
I’ve just received word that I have 2 herniated disks in my neck and 2 bulging disks. I was told by a neursurgeon that even if I didn’t require surgery I wouldn’t be able to lift over 20lbs for the rest of my life. The kicker is I’m 23 years old and I’m an athelete in mixed martial arts and proffessional wrestling. I have the info from my MRI if anyone needs that and I’ve already been to numerous websites. I guess what I’m lookin for is an answer without a dead end. I’ve been through traction and therapy which I’m still going through. I would really appreciate any feed back that would lead to treatment and get me back into sports again
The neck obviously is a very sensitive location to have disk problems. Even without wrestling and martial arts you are potentially in for significant problems during the rest of your life.
One thing I don’t quite understand is “herniated” and “bulging”. They are the same thing. Did you mean ruptured and herniated? Of did the doctor mean that the “herniated” disks were more bulged than the bulged disks?
Often times when a person has multiple disk problems doctors will not do procedures that they’d consider if it were only a single disk. For instance fusion of the vertebra is a possible action, but if you fuse too many vertebra you severely restrict motion of the head.
As tough as it may sound, there are career ending injuries. There are injuries that our current medical practice cannot treat and fix.
I have serious lower back problems that started when I ruptured a disk. I have had surgery, but it did not fix the problem, and I cannot even golf anymore, much less kickbox or do what professional wrestlers do.
You certainly have to be concerned about becoming the next Christoffer Reaves and you need to ask pointed questions of your doctors concerning the potential for damage that could lead to complete paralysis.
That all being said I have a Brother-In-Law who has had two neck surgeries, one fusion, the other to clean up spurs and chips. Both led to relief from the symptoms he was having at the time. He has give up sports (basketball) following the second surgery.
I’m going to add a few more comments. First, I developed my back problem in my upper 40′s. I had a cousin who had a back fusion in her 30′s that turned out alright so far. My dentist had a back disk removed 20+ years ago (no fusion or anything. Doc said it’d fill in with scar tissue) and he is in constant pain now.
The internet is a great place for interaction. I did extensive searching to find “cures.” In doing so you find people who were not cured. One thing I discovered was that people who had failed back fusions were living a hell on earth. The pain they were in every minute of the day was unbelievable. Depression was constant and severe amongst this group. I came to the conclusion that fusion was an absolute last resort because a failure effectively ended your life. Because of the lesser amount of weight supported, I suspect neck fusion failures are fewer. I do, however, suspect that the decision for a fusion ends your wrestling and MMA carear.
The other think is that often time heals. Some of these injuries can take a couple of years to heal. Even my back is better now than it was 2 years ago. I still get sensations in my feet and legs, but I have not had it completely go out on me in that time period, and I have been able to do non-jaring activites, even chainsawing, without severe aftereffects. Your’s may heal by itself to the point where you can resume activity but it could take significant time.
Good luck, I hope it turns out for you.
Neck Traction
Pneotrack home traction unit?
My physical therapist wants me to have one of these for my neck problems. All I can find is the over the door kind that holds water. Med-South doesn’t carry them or know where I can get one. Any ideas, other than ask my therapist? Who is out of town?
The discription my therapist gave me was that it fit like a neck brace and I could pump it while watching tv.
Does it have to be a “Pneotrack” (which I have never heard of). The Saunders traction unit is probably the most recognizable home pneumatic traction unit…readily available by any search engine.
Neck Shoulder How can I relieve the tension on the right side of my neck/shoulder area?
The right side of my neck and shoulder are so tense. I have anxiety issues so I know this is from stress. I stretch every night before I sleep but I’m pretty sure I’m doing the wrong stretches because the pain hasn’t gotten better. What stretches do you suggest? And what are some better positions to sleep in?? (I’m a back sleeper)
i have anxiety a lot too.i always pop my neck to relieve it some.
Neck Shoulder
When I lift fairly heavy objects, I get a pain between my shoulder and my neck. What should I do?
Whenever I lift (starts at about 30-40 pounds) I get a pain between my neck and shoulder blade. It’s not unbearable, but it bothers me enough to make me stop lifting. Should I just stop lifting for a few weeks or go see a doctor?
But it didn’t used to hurt. It just started hurting a week or two ago.
Sounds as if your lifting technique is wrong, you are in the wrong body alignment, so see a trainer. Best of Luck
Neck Face How to protect face, neck, and ears from the sun while wearing a cycling helmet?
I do not want to slather on sunscreen.
Are wide brimmed cycling helmets available? Or some combination of helmet and cloth to protect exposed areas of the face, neck, ears, etc. from the sun?
May the loving Father of Christ bless us,
Ron Holtman Jr.
you should use cream that protects from sun with SPF higher then 15 at least, and i think you should be fine
good luck

Is there an easy way to get rid of warts on neck and face?
There are warts on my face and neck and I wanted to get rid of them without going to experts.
They may go away with time…or spread with time.
Any particular reason why you don’t want to see an expert?
Back Neck Rugby: My back/neck is hurting after doing scrums in a game of 7′s. Can any one help?
Hey, I’m playing rugby 7′s and I’m doing the three man scrums and have just played a game in the scrum. I normal 15′s I play as a centre so have never really done any scrums before. But after the game my back and neck ache and hurt. Is this normal as I’m new to it? Is my technique wrong, that’s why I’m getting pains? Thanks for any help
You already know the answer to this – look at your penultimate sentence.
Even in sevens, the scrum is a highly technical issue. You MUST be taught the techniques, and train at scrummaging under qualified supervision. The consequences of getting this wrong are entirely out of scale with the problems of learning it properly. If not for you, then for another player who may be injured.
If you are sore after exercise, it could be simply that your fitness is not where it needs to be, or that your technique is off. But if your neck *hurts*, that is another matter. Consider getting medical advice on the neck, if it hurts. And absolutely get instruction and supervision on scrummaging.
Rugby, even Sevens, is not American razzle-dazzle touch football. Respect the game and yourself. Learn to do it correctly, and then practice what you have learned. You will be a better player, a safer player, and you’ll have more fun (not to mention being able to report for work on Monday).

Back Neck
I recently became vegetarian and I get frequent back and neck pain?
My neck’s hurting as I write this. I became vegetarian about 4 months ago and the back+neck pain started around then. Are these two connected? I also experience bloating. How to solve this?
It must be from leaning over the salad bar..LOL…just kidding. The 2 aren’t related.
Kim…have you been “imbibing”? You’re typing like a flexi…LOL
