I’m 17 and for many years I’ve been shaking. Sometimes it gets really bad where I feel like I have a massager in my stomach because my Whole Body feels like its vibrating. I’ve asked my Doctor about it and he wasn’t sure, then I asked my school nurse and she told me that its probley because of my asthma. She said that when my oxygen is low I shake but she also admitted that she wasn’t entirely sure.
Shaking is at its worst after exercising, fear, lack of sleep, hunger, anger, and after taking my breathing treatments. Although I have been able to see a pattern in the severity of my shaking, my shaking at times doesn’t follow any type of pattern. Sometimes I shake really bad for, what seems like, no reason.
I shake alittle bit all the time.
Sorry to see this is not getting any answers: you give lots of information, yet folks are staying away from your question in droves…. // To be truthful, i can add nothing myself, except to say that this condition seems to be extremely rare: its definitely not something that pops up every day!! That said, it seems that it is not life-threatening, and that you can live a fairly normal life with it. Everyone has their “crosses” or imperfections in life to bear: some are very short, others put on weight awesomely easily…..i’d venture that this is one of yours, that maybe one day you’ll find a cure for, or maybe not. I’ll make you a promise: if i hear of something like it that someone has found a cure for, i’ll look this question up and tell you!!
Vibration Machine Has anyone used a Vibration Exercise/Massage Machine?
The Vibration machine seems to be the latest craze advertised in the local paper and on eBay etc.
Has anyone used one of these machines and got the ‘promised’ weight loss or had any good/bad experiences with it?
i used one long back but didn’t find it to be very effective i would rather prefer the ones which give out heat (cause they make u sweat) instead of vibrations as sweating makes u lose weight and as the answer above me says vibrations can cause Muscle Pain.

in my opinion, it saves money from going to the massage parlor. but i dont think all that electronic machine is good for the body. that’s just my opinion.

The claims for them are variable.
Some say diet, exercise plus machine leads to weight loss round the middle but investigations are still in progress.
They make some people feel sick and dizzy.
The jury is still out on the benefits or otherwise of the machines and the effects (claimed) are still under scrutiny.
Shiatsu Kneading Is there such a thing as a shiatsu type Foot Massager?
Having something that just vibrates on the feet does not interest me. It’s the rubbing and kneading action that makes a Foot Massage great. For times when no volunteer is available, I was wondering if any company has invented a shiatsu type of foot massager.

Hey you guys I’m 22 and I graduated highschool 2003 I had many conflicts with my goals. I have been to both vocational schools and colleges and unfortunately didn’t find a spark in what career I wanted to get into. I have did some soul searching and researching and have been out of a job because I despised all food industry jobs that I had. I’m at the conclusion of feeling a good heart to help others with back problems that’s why I considered massage therapy! umm and then I’m thinking of joining a community college and doing the PTA progam and as I build myself up I want to end up owning my own cafe! life is full of decisions and I feel like I been soul searching enough on my careers I need your advice. I mean I love a job where I can work independently and not to grind and move too fast and I can work in a soft structured environment where people aren’t screaming at me or telling me I’m doing a bad job I’m tired of that! i’m empathetic,kindhearted,peoplepleaser,easygoing nice
Its great to have many aspirations toward many things of interest but I believe it all comes down to some basic goal setting. If you are serious about PTA & MT as professions you would like to explore, then I would recommend working toward that now. The combination is good. It allows you to work in a variety of settings where you can care for people including clinics, hospitals and massage establishments. However, until you establish your own business, there will always be people that will be telling you what to do. Although, in a healthcare profession, I’m sure it is not as harsh as a food service entity. As far as the cafe, you may be inviting back into your life the same type of people you are trying to avoid, even though you are the owner; however, this time they have the potential to destroy your business if not managed properly. This includes your vendors, your customers and your employees. Some people love to take advantage of the empathetic and kindhearted. I would suggest finding good role models to learn from in the types of settings you would like to work. Seeking out successful business owners and learning from them may be a good direction as well. They may have some wisdom to share that would typically not be taught in any classes nor be “written on the wall.”
Massager Battery Should I change the batteries in my great-grandmother’s strangely-shaped massager?
I was watching television the other day, and I noticed that the batteries on the remote control were fading quickly. Desperately, I searched the house over in my quest to find replacements, as it was too late to go to the store. After looking seemingly everywhere, I decided to check my great-grandmother’s bedroom (she lives with us for practical purposes), but nothing. I almost walked out of the bedroom waving the white flag to the Battery Gods, but then I remembered that I hadn’t checked Nana’s dresser. Low and behold, she had a massaging tool that must be made to fit in her belly button and between her toes, because it’s not shaped like a normal Back Massager, but it emits a wonderfully delightful vibration. Nana must get a lot of belly button and toe cramps because, sure enough, those batteries went dead soon after I put them in the remote. So should I just return the dead batteries to her toe massager, or should I buy her new ones? Will she get mad if she finds out?
I would buy a 2 pack of batteries so you can watch the tv in the mean time and replace the massager with the dead batteries. Since it sounds like she uses the massager a lot, maybe she’ll go to costco and get the big pack and you’ll never have to worry about batteries again.

Is it a bad sign that my wife asked me to borrow the back massager I was using, & proceeded to massage the dog?
for 20 minutes, totally depleting the batteries in the thing? Meanwhile, my back has been out of wack for a few days, and I’d just rallied to give the wife my bedroom skillz, despite the aches.
Earlier, this morning, when I’d asked her to spread some Aspercreme on the back, she complained and spent perhaps 30 second on the process.
Is this a bad sign?
hmmmmmmmmm……. she probably thought that you would survive backache anyway having gone through worse and wondered why shorten the dog’s life span from what it already is.
and as for the cream, im sure you moaned heavily when she was rubbing and she probably realised you wanted another round. she figured if you asked her, now that youre all aroused, that she was tired from being on top all the time and that it was time you got off your lazy azz. so she didnt want round two and stopped rubbing the cream.

After a mare is bred, waiting to determine if the mare returns to heat before having her examined for pregnancy may appear to be a way to save money by avoiding “needless” pregnancy evaluations, but may ultimately result in greater costs. The use of ultrasound enables vets to diagnose pregnancy at an early stage, 12 to 14 days after ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs approximately one day before the mare goes out of heat. The advantages of early pregnancy diagnosis are numerous, whereas the disadvantages are negligible.
By knowing that a mare is not pregnant before the time she is due to come back into heat, plans can be made to prepare for another breeding. Although the length of time a mare is in estrus or “heat” varies somewhat between mares and according to the time of the year, the length of time a mare is out of heat is fairly consistent, approximately 15 days. By checking a mare for pregnancy two weeks after she goes out of heat, if she is not pregnant, plans can be made to either take her back to the stallion for rebreeding or prepare for another shipment of semen for artificial insemination. This time frame allows for arrangements to be made before she comes back into heat, thereby providing ample time so that the next cycle is not missed and valuable time is not lost. This advanced warning is also helpful to the manager of the stallion who may need to work the mare into the breeding schedule. If pregnancy examination is delayed until 18 or 21 days after breeding, the mare may be too close to ovulation (or even just past ovulation) for rebreeding during that cycle.
Because the length of time between heats is fairly consistent, if a mare is showing strong signs of heat at the time of pregnancy examination 12 to 14 days after the last breeding, it is an indication of some problem causing her to “short cycle.” Short cycling, or coming back into heat before expected, may result from a uterine infection. Uterine infections cause the release of a hormone, prostaglandin, that results in a mare returning to estrus. This will result in her having a shorter than normal interval between estrus periods. Mares that come back into heat before they are due should be examined for abnormal conditions of the reproductive tract, including poor conformation, urine pooling, and endometritis, which could be responsible for the abbreviated diestrus. Likewise, examination for pregnancy in late diestrus may reveal fluid in the uterus, another abnormal condition that should be further evaluated.
The most important reason for early pregnancy examination is probably the detection of twins. Mares rarely carry twins to term successfully. Twin pregnancy usually ends in abortion or dystocia (problems giving birth), either of which can result in a delay in getting the mare rebred. Before the arrival of ultrasound, twinning was a major cause of abortion in mares. Now, with the use of ultrasound, the incidence of abortion due to twins can be avoided.

Machine Massage Can someone please tell me what the name of this machine is?
I went to a cosmetologist and she did a cellular repair on my face with some machine, and it really helped my acne. It has metallic balls at the edge of each of the two handles. One ball is smaller than the other. As she held one to a certain point on my face she massaged the rest of my face with the bigger metallic ball. As she did this I felt an electric current. Can anyone tell me what the name of this machine is?

Not only do they pay for me to get massages, but this week they paid for me to get an electrical Massage Machine to use at home. It’s just like the one my physical therapist uses. Has your insurance company ever done anything like this for you?
