I suck at giving foot massages. My foot massages don’t feel have any feeling in them… Is a Foot Massage supposed to feel good? Someone massaged my foot and I can’t say it was good… Are we doing them wrong? Any good site to teach me how to give a good foot massage? I give good back massages, but they are completely different from feet massages.
Foot massage doesn’t always feel good to everyone. Did you have a Professional Massage your foot or just your friend? A professional will be able to give you a much better example.
Foot massage can sometimes be too ticklish or too painful for people.

Being a foot doctor I get a lot of compliments from girls that I give good foot rubs. The trick is to understand the anatomy. The most important anatomic part of the foot is the plantar fascia. This is a thick ligament that runs from the middle of the heel and fans out to all the toes. So basic principle of doing good foot massages is to massage starting from the heel and working your way up to the toes. Use 2 hands and your thumbs to put pressure (not to hard but not to soft) on the plantar fascia. If you bend the big toe up you will be able to see the fascia better. Also FYI, from reflexology, the “sexual organs” are around the back of the heel and around the ankle.

Yes, I just fell yesterday on ice and had a concussion and lots of back and neck pain. I went to my obgyn last night to check on the baby and she suggested I use a heating pad for the pain.
I have one on those things that you put over your chair and they heat up and vibrate. Do you think these things are ok to use during pregnancy? I’m not sure if the heat will affect my baby or not. I can’t adjust the heat but it makes my back feel a whole lot better at work! I didn’t think it would be an issue but my parents are telling me not to use it!
The heat is fine, just try not to fall asleep on it as pregnant women may not move as much in their sleep.
Hot showers are also fine, you just don’t want to do anything that will raise your core body temperature. A heating pad won’t because so much of you is not covered.

I have explained this many times. First yes it is total bunk. There is no way no how to detox anything through the feet period. These foot bath things work like this, the gunk is simply metals from the two dissimilar metals used as the electrodes, in fact the water will turn the same color even if there is no body part in the water. First you need electrodes made of two different metals, next you need to make the water conductive by say adding a small amount of salt. Next just run a small electric current through the water, there will be an electroplating effect where some of the metal from the electrodes will deposit in the water. Simple as that, this process is used for electroplating metals like gold or silver for example. It is amazing that people will be taken by this, and believe anything they hear. You on the other hand are questioning it and that is healthy. Total and I say total scam, it won’t cure anything but it will take money from your wallet.

Poor Dave, He never really has a clue,does he? A percussion massager works by fatiguing the parts of a muscle that senses tension in that muscle,thus relaxing it. I use it for cases of tendinitis. It works well,and quess what, I don’t even charge extra….quess I’ll never get rich

I like to use a percussion massager, but since I have to put a towel over me so it won’t catch on my skin and hurt me, I don’t like it too much. But I love the vibrations because they’re strong. I think I need to clarify. It’s not a day at the salon its a little machine you put your feet in and there are some jets. There was a warning with the instructions but I have been reading conflicting informatin about the safety.

…. practice aha it happens like that for most tricks just find where your comfortable at. Also goofy or regular don”t keep your feet on the edge of the board. But its better to keep it on the edge when your starting off. So you know exactly and when you put your foot below your bolt and your feet in the middle of your board but a little off. So you learn how to control your flip and what to do to perfect it .

Whenever i ollie, my front foot goes to the right position (over the front bolts) but my back foot drags as well. I can still land it but i want to ollie stairs and i think this might cause me to bail or crack my board.
if ur leaning to far forward or have to much weight on ur front foot or jumping forward instead of just straight up could cause this to happen. just pratice trying to tryin to keep ur back foot from goin up to far, remember u want it to land on the bolts as well. once u pop concentrate on lifting ur back foot up instead of so far forward.

How to make my veins less visible?
My father work as a cook, he works 10 hours each day. I noticed how his veins are more visible than before. I am wondering if anybody knows how to cure it like make it less visible. I thought buying him a foot/calf massager would help. But it seems like is not doing any good. One time this nurse told me I should go to those pharmacy store to buy this thing which is good for his leg. I 4got the name but is this thing for him to wear on his legs to help him with his veins. I guess you are talking about compression stockings. They are white and have a toe area cut out to be able to observe toe color and function. The stockings help force venous blood back into circulation and help reduce swelling and the risk of clots.
HOWEVER, they must be worn correctly. If you decide to get these, it might be best to make sure the doc agrees with the purchase, and get a demonstration of how to put them on correctly. The pharmacist (or a nurse) might help with that.

All my stress seems to go into my jaw. I’ve tried Indian head massage, flotation, yoga, reflexology, accupuncture etc etc. I can relax everything else but not my jaw. And why are they usually clumped together as one fetish?
I have a leg fetish, but whenever I tell people I prefer a woman’s legs they say I have a foot fetish. Yeah I notice if she has hot shoes, but that’s cause it makes her legs look good. It’s not the same thing, I don’t get aroused or turned on by her feet/shoes, just the legs.

I would say this is up there with people being homosexual and other desires, just born that way. There’s nothing wrong with it since it’s your life and only YOU know what you like and what makes you aroused. Don’t listen to the people that say hurtful things like pervert, weirdo, etc, it’s a shame they can’t be as open to anything since almost anything is possible.
