Will a outlet adapter work for my regularly car outlet powered device?

i have this massage cushion that i received for christmas. The cushion only supports and came with a car adapter. I cannot put over my seats in my vehicle so i am trying to buy a proper adapter. The requirements for the cushion are an input of 12V DC 1000mA. The adapter I found converts an input of 110-220V AC and has an output of 12V DC 500 mA. My question is, will the converter work and supply the correct amount of power to my cushion?

No. The output is only half of the load current needed. Try building your own power supply by using a transformer ( secondary output 12 vac 1 amp. or more, a full wave rectifier & the proper cconnector tohook to your car cord.

How do you repair a seat cushion ripped apart by a dog? ?

Left my daughter’s dog in the car while visiting my mother-in-law. Came out to find he had ripped chunks of foam cushion out of the driver’s seat. Can you get the seat cushion replaced?

If it’s a rear seat, it’s probably just popped out of a bracket that you can re-tighten on your own.

Removal of car seat to expose the PPD sensor?

passenger presence detection sensor is bad. Its inside the passenger seat in the cushion.
Car is a 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS.

Once you remove the seat cover, you should see a square patch, the sensor is under there. Make sure you have a new PPD before removing any upholstery.

TIP: Make sure you have a “foam safe” adhesive to put the square patch back in its place.

considering it is the most sporty model in the continental range, the focus of the car is more on the driving experience, as opposed to ultimate comfort. For this reason, it probably will not get massaging seats.

How do I get Massage Oil stain out of the back seat of my car?

I had a half gallon jug of Almond oil in the trunk of my car. I guess from rolling around in the trunk, the lid loosened up and came off. The whole 1/2 gallon of oil soaked the trunk of my car. About a month later, I noticed it seaping through to the back seat. Now after a year of trying to soak it up, shampooing it with my own shampooer, and getting it professionally shampooed, I cannot get the oil out of my seat or trunk! Now its starting to smell like old, stale oil. I have been Febreezing it, but i really want to get the oil out WITHOUT replacing the back seat and truck. Any suggestions?

How do I prevent cutting myself with my Gillette Fusion when I try to shave everyday?

I use the Gillette Fusion (5 blades) and Edge Advanced: Extra Comfort shave gel, both bought at Costco. I like to have a clean-cut face all around, because I have very dark/black hair and when I don’t shave for a few days, my face looks very dark/scrubby. So ideally, I would like to shave every day or every other day, in order to look nice and clean. However, when I shave every day or every other day, my razor makes small cuts all over my neck/cheeks/face/etc. If I wait till my hair is longer (like about 4 days after last-shave), then I don’t have any cuts whatsoever after I finish shaving.

I would start by hydrating your hair with warm water to soften the whiskers and adding a bit more gel around the tricky spots where you keep cutting yourself. This will help cushion the skin from the blade. Did you know that beard hair is 70% softer when it’s wet? Use gentle strokes, and avoid applying pressure. Let the razor do the cutting. Avoid as well going over the same spot several times. Finally, rinse with cold water and apply a gentle moisturising lotion.

How can I round the edges of my foam to make a small cushion shape?

I have some firm foam that was cut in neat flat square shapes. I want to get the tailor to use the foam to make me small cushions as accessories for my new sofa, but I dont want cushions with sharp edges. I want the traditional rounded edges. What should i do? .

As a professional automotive upholsterer I have used many methods over the years. ie scissors, razor blade knife, serrated blade knife, etc but the easiest way I have found is an electric carving knife.
They are inexpensive and easy to use.
Whatever method you use don’t worry too much about how smooth the cut edge is. Small imperfections will be smoothed out when the foam is stuffed into the cushion cover.
Also, cut your foam slightly larger than the cover. This will ensure a tight fit and a firm cushion. If it is too firm you can always remove and recut the foam, but if you cut it too small you will have to replace the foam.

Will facial steaming and suctioning help clear up acne? If not what might help?

I’m thinking of buying the HoMedics daily spa complete facial care system. It includes a facial sauna/steamer, microderm abrasion, some kind of suction, massage rollers…will this help with acne at all? I don’t really need help with wrinkles or age spots- i’m only 21. Just blackheads and acne. I have very oily skin. If this isn’t going to help can anyone suggest better options?

When I get a facial, that’s what the aestetician does to clean out my pores. First a steam bath for like 5 min, then the extractions. I don’t know how much it would help with the acne, but blackheads will be gone.

I need some advice in this… Some Idea? I need a massager for Foot Massage and Back Massage aswell, what do you thing should I buy?

Forget the Back Cushion. I have had a bad back for years, I have had several sessions with a chiropractor and an acupuncturist, I also had reflexology, physiotherapy and nothing worked.
I also used various kinds of back supports and cushions. A few months ago I had a flair up and the pain was dreadful.
Last week my grandsons Rugby ball was closer than my back support, I grabbed this and put if between my bench seat and my back. Later I started pushing my feet on the floor and elevating my bottom, this resulted in the ball rolling up my spine, when I sit down slowly if rolls down. I do this a few times every day, the relief has been tremendous. If you do not have a chair with a solid back, just use a wall. I also go upstairs on my knees several times a day and this helps too. Perhaps you could try a Rugby ball on your feet too.
