A light hearted question to pass the time?

I’m a meat eater and I respect peoples decisions to be veggie or vegan or to eat more or less whatever they want to, but I’d just like to address the stereotypes that we seem to give each other.
Why is it that when people mention that they’re veggie, all those around them roll their eyes and imagine their friend turning into a lettuce chomping, sandal wearing, mantra chanting, santimonious git?
I’ve also noticed that some veggies seem to categorise meat eaters as fat, lazy, burger chomping, dog kicking, bottom scratchers who eat meat and nothing else for every meal.
I’ve learned to find this amusing if a tad annoying, what’s everyone else’s experience with this?
Oh, and as an aside I haven’t had and won’t be having meat today and probably not tomorrow either.

LOL ok you got my attention! I truly believe that people who act condescending towards others ways/beliefs in life are only trying to justify their own, as they probably have doubts but are too afraid or embarassed to admit it.

As for myself, WHERE’S THE BEEF? If mad cow disease is a problem, I’ll just tell my butcher to “cut it out and sell me the good parts!”

And if anyone says to me “Don’t you realize there is about 10 lbs of undigested meat in your colon when you die?”
I’ll just respond “WHO CARES? I’M DEAD! But I had a lovely, tasty ride!” MOooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!Cluck! Oink oink!

I know how you feel. When I moved to Arizona, my boyfriend and I would drive up to Nevada a lot and waste countless amounts of money at casinos. I still hit casinos even though I live in N.Y.C., but I’m more controlled.

Oh, and my current sin is probably flirting with different guys I meet at work, even though I have a boyfriend. I do it subconsciously.

Would you recommend using a water bed heater under an inflatable spa?

I am planing to buy a portable inflatable spa and planning on putting it in my spare room in my house with ventilation. It doesn’t have a heater and someone told me to use a water bed heater under it. Would that damage the vinyl on the underside of the spa or damage my non carpeted vinyl tile floor?

A spa inside the house in not a very good idea. The humidity level will be sky high, mold will start to grow and if it leaks, well you will have mess, make sure your home owners insurance covers any damage. If the heater is not on a GFI you could get the shock of your life

How can I wash a black and white bed blanket so that the black doesn’t fade but the white part is brighter?

I have a large comforter blanket on my bed that is white with a black shadow design all over it. How do I wash the blanket so that I can get the white part of it whiter (it’s starting to look a bit dingy) but so that the black design doesn’t fade? Is there a special detergent or method?

Use Woolite in cold water. It’s a delicate detergent and won’t fade colors.
