Whether you want to find discounts for your favorite brand name shampoo or hair care products, or whether you are looking for an extremely expensive moisturizer cream, the use of beauty coupons is the best way to save on the higher costs of the brand name products women love to buy. When you are trying to find the greatest deals, and want to find the lowest prices on these otherwise expensive haircare and skincare product lines, the use of beauty coupons and online promo codes is a great way for the consumer to save on the costs of their favorite brand names.

In order to find the deals, and to find the most current coupons for your favorite brand names online, consumers should simply utilize the biggest search engines when seeking out beauty coupons. Many of the beauty coupons will either be printable, and there will also be online promo codes for those who want to place the order directly online. Therefore, by taking the time to use as many search engines as possible, and by searching all of your favorite brand names, women can be rest assured they are going to find the savings and current beauty coupons being offered by the brands they love. It is simple to find lower prices on your favorite brands, women just have to be willing to take the time and effort to seek out the deals and coupons that are available to them.

Get a Little Luxury with Home Spa Equipment

Posted in Massage Equipment by Clayton Yonker on December 30, 2011

Life can sometimes stress even the calmest of people out, and preventing this from happening can be a rather arduous task in itself. A great way to make life a little less stressful is to get some home spa equipment.

The good news is that home spa equipment can be surprisingly inexpensive, but of course you can always go for a more luxurious route if you want your own sauna, or even some more high quality equipment!

Cheaper spa equipment may be as simple as a small mat which adds bubbles and pressure spray to your bath turning a bath in to your own hot tub. This simple tool can vastly improve the relaxation  of your bath, and nearly anyone can afford it.

Full home spa solutions can get very expensive, but if you leave a stressful but prosprous lifestyle they can be a great investment.  Having a home sauna, hot tub, Foot Spa and Massage Chair can help reduce the knots in your muscles after even the most stressful of days.

While prices do vary a lot, I do suggest that you do not automatically go for the cheapest solution.  Spending a little more can vastly improve your relaxation experience and your stress reduction, even on lower end spa equipment.  This is especially true when you are looking for Massage Equipment, since a little extra design work can provide a much better massage experience.

Sometimes thee reverse can be true when you are looking for high end home spa equipment, you may often find yourself paying more for a brand that gives you the same spa equipment as another brand.

Don’t forget that there are other things you can do to make your lifestyle easier, I picked up a maid service in Austin, TX which gave me a huge amount of extra time each day to get things done!

Eye Makeup for Guys — the way to get new admirers

Posted in Makeup Products by Clayton Yonker on November 24, 2011

I was in town a couple of days ago with my old lady. She was looking around in a department store for a new eyeshadow for the upcoming Thanksgiving party and I was kind of loitering nearby. I got talking to a lady at one of the cosmetic counters and she asked if I’d be interested in eye makeup for men.

Me? I wasn’t going to wear no eye makeup, for men or not for men.

She said it wasn’t like I thought and showed me some products by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Mascara and eyeliner for men. I agreed to try, since she said no one would notice I was wearing it. Okay, she actually said I’d get the kind of piercing eyes women love — yeah, that’s why I agreed.

So, she put the eye makeup on me (I thought she’d blind me with that eyeliner) and presto! I was indeed a good looking guy all at once. I said I’d buy, but when she told me the price — no way was I paying that!

Then the saleswoman let me into a secret. She said there’s no need to buy this stuff, just an eyeliner in bronze or brown and eyebrow gel that could also be used on the lashes. She said it was exactly the same as what Jean-Paul Gaultier was charging 20 times the amount for.

A few hours later, my wife said there was something different about me. I asked if the difference was good or bad. She said it was definitely good.

She still doesn’t know what the difference is, because I’m not telling. And now I’ve got even more skilled at applying eye makeup for guys. And I’m getting new admirers every day — women love it!

Got an ugly nail fungus infection? Here’s what you need to do

Posted in Health And Wellbeing by Clayton Yonker on November 13, 2011

If you have noticed a yellowish discolored patch on your nail you might have developed a common fungal disorder known as onychomycosis. It’s probably a good idea to get a definite diagnosis from a dermatologist. Although it’s not a life-threatening disease, don’t be tempted to ignore it as it is very unlikely to clear away on its own. It’s also progressive in nature and can cause permanent damage to the structure of your nails.

The condition is caused by a group of fungal organisms that thrive in moist, protected environments. So the more hours each day you can expose your toenails to sunlight the better. You really want to cut down on the length of time they stay cooped up in socks and shoes. Change out of sweaty exercise shoes quickly and make sure that any footwear you wear is well ventilated and made from natural fibers. And of course completely dry your toenails after showering.

When it comes to treatment your dermatologist may discuss oral medication therapy with you. There are a number of very effective prescription antifungal drugs available on the market. But as some of these have been linked to liver problems and side effects, many sufferers opt to treat their condition using topical therapies. Again choose your product carefully as you want to ensure that it can penetrate through the nail layers to reach the fungus (here are some reviews to chew over).   You’ll have to be consistent, applying the treatment regularly.

Take Time For A Healthy Lifestyle

Posted in Health And Wellbeing by Clayton Yonker on November 9, 2011

There are many factors that go into a healthy lifestyle, some are based on what you eat, and other are more based on the way you behave. Even though healthy eating is rather simple, that does not mean that it is very easy, it takes some knowledge and will power. But this is something you can work on, if you need to.

If you do eat sensibly, you will find that you will feel better in your self and also should be more prone to having Healthy Skin, and lots more energy. You can change your diet gradually to help your self to achieve this, it may only take some simple changes to help you achieve this.

Other things that can help you have a healthy lifestyle can be taking time out to do something you find relaxing. This could be jogging, swimming, or even dragging out your Brother CS6000i, and having a sewing session. This can be very relaxing, just doing something for yourself, and taking your time at it.

Other things that can be relaxing for saome people is shopping, perhaps for gifts for your children, such as a Sylvanian Family caravan. Sometimes it is by treating those we love to something special that can make us feel good about ourselves.

Natural Mosquito Repellent or DEET?

Posted in Health And Wellbeing by Clayton Yonker on September 29, 2011

When it comes to protecting your skin in a tropical country your biggest worry has got to be the sun.  You could be forgiven, then, in your hunt to find the perfect sun block, for forgetting about another important matter: mosquito repellent.

Whenever we travel to a mosquito ridden country we spray this stuff around like there’s no tomorrow. Every couple of hours we reapply repellent to our clothing and skin.  This is helpful, but we rarely think about the effect this is having on our skin.  Think about it. Most mosquito repellents use DEET, a solvent that can melt plastic.  Don’t you think that’s a dangerous thing to be spraying on your bare skin?

For years now I’ve used nothing but natural mosquito repellent.  I refuse to use DEET on my skin, and instead I use gentle natural ingredients to ward off the attention of mosquitoes.

Right now I use a citronella based natural mosquito repellent that produces a scent that mosquitoes really dislike.  OK, it’s not quite as effective as a chemical repellent, but even though I still get the occasional nip I’m pretty well protected and I’m not causing any damage to my sensitive skin.

So, next time you’re going on holiday you should consider leaving the DEET at home and going for a natural mosquito repellent.

Owl Figurine – Perfect Mimento for a Bird Lover

Posted in Fitness Equipment by Clayton Yonker on September 24, 2011

Every year in October the National Seashore Park on Cape Cod, Massachusetts hosts a midnight birdwatching tour to go in search of a Screeching Owl. When my now 30 year-old nephew Ben was 5, we decided to go.

That was quite an adventure for a small boy. While there is no guarantee that the tour will actually see (or hear) a screeching owl, the tour itself is a worthy adventure. It’s dark and the tall forest is very spooky. You walk with just flashlights pointed at the ground to keep you from tripping. You don’t want to scare the owls so you don’t point them up in the air.

Well we did get to hear the screeching owls. It was very impressive. I think everyone there (including the tour guide) jumped with the first screech was heard. What an adventure! Then multiple screeching owls were heard. Ben’s hand grabbed mine so tightly. Well we survived and it’s become one of our favorite memories. Now that he has his own son, he can hardly wait to bring him on the tour.

I gave him an owl figurine for a special keepsake Christmas present that year. It was the start of a small figurine collection for him, that represented our most special memories each year. When I visited him and his wife at their new apartment, I was delighted to see the cute figurines displayed in his son’s bedroom.

Halloween Balloons – Cheap and Easy Decorations for Halloween

Posted in Beauty Supply by Clayton Yonker on September 4, 2011

Halloween balloons are a cheap and easy decorations for Halloween. They are especially appropriate for Halloween parties geared toward smaller kids. You can tie a large bunch of balloons together and use them to help people find your Halloween Party. In this case I might tie the Halloween balloons to a creepy yard sign.

Of course you’ll find Halloween balloons in black and orange. Many of them wish your trick-or-treaters Happy Halloween. Your balloons might be the traditional round shape with a design on them. Or for a special effect they could come in a special shape.

I love Halloween bat balloons! They are shaped like bats and look really great when you hang them – just like bats flying through the sky. They are cheap enough that you can have lots of them.

White ghost balloons are the same idea. They show up against the night sky. It might be fun to have a Witch flying through one of your trees on a broom. And then have bats and ghosts flying along with her!

Spider-shaped balloons also make wonderful addition to your Halloween decorations. Get some spider cobwebs to set your spider balloon in and you’ve got yourself one creepy corner!

How to Replace Stones on Pageant Dresses

Posted in Beauty Supply by Clayton Yonker on August 20, 2011

As you know, glitz pageant dresses are often covered with Swarovski rhinestones. In fact, a high glitz pageant dress might be embellished with hundreds of rhinestones. Unfortunately, sometimes the rhinestones fall off a dress. Just handling the dress, even when you do so gently, can sometimes cause the rhinestones to loosen and eventually come off.

Most rhinestones on pageant dresses are affixed to the dresses with some type of glue. With some dresses, pre-glued stones or “hot-fixed” stones are used. With these stones, you won’t need to apply glue. To be honest, I’ve never used this type of stones.

I’ve always used loose stones that have no glue attached, so I have to apply the glue to the rhinestones myself. From my experience, the best glue for attaching rhinestones to pageant dresses is E6000. You can find this glue at craft shops, online, and even at most Walmart stores.

When you notice that your pageant dress is missing some stones, lay the bodice out flat so that you can see where the stones need to be replaced. Use a toothpick to place a small amount of glue on the stone or on the dress. I prefer adding glue to the dress instead of to the stone, but use the method that you’re the most comfortable with. Place the stone on the dress and press firmly. Allow the glue to dry for several hours before handling the dress.

Healthy Southern Food

Posted in Healthy Eating by Clayton Yonker on July 31, 2011

Most people think of southern food as being greasy and fried.  This is not always the case.  Southern food can be healthy, as well.

Many of the meats that are used with southern cooking can be prepared in a way that is healthy.  Take chicken for instance.  Not all southern food recipes call for fried chicken that’s battered and deep fried.  One instance of this is the BBQ pulled chicken.  This is a recipe that calls mainly for boneless skinless chicken thighs, reduced-sodium tomato sauce, and fresh ingredients such as onions and garlic.  This is a southern recipe that can be served in a healthy way.  You can serve it on a whole wheat roll with lettuce and tomato.  You could even serve it wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla if you’d prefer.

Another southern food recipe that is a healthy recipe is grilled shrimp.  Grilled shrimp are virtually fat free and full of flavor.  You can season them with lime juice or lemon juice and just a little paprika.  They’re easy to make and don’t take long to grill.  Serve them with a salad or fresh coleslaw.

With a bit of imagination and ingenuity, many southern food recipes can be made into healthy and updated recipes.  If a recipe calls for deep frying in heavy oil, try oven frying instead.  If it calls for a soup, try the reduced-sodium.  When your recipe calls for vegetables, skip the cans and get fresh vegetables from your local farmers’ market.
