Should I get a massage?
I’m 17-years-old and extremely stressed. There’s alot of problems in my family (to name just one: my dad is abusive) and I’m also stressed from school (getting good grades at a UC). So my mental health is basically blah and on top of that I have physical problems:
I’m on my cycle now and the cramps are BAD. Today I was escorted to the emergency room because my menstrual blood stopped flowing and I almost passed out. The pain was excruciating And now I’m extremely weak, especially my lower abdomen and my lower back is killing me (b/c of my period probably). Plus I still have cramps now.
And for years I have had recurring back aches because of my pillow/bed. I change my pillow once in a while but the back pains still come once in a while.
My mom is not talking to me so I can’t go to her. I pretty much have to find solutions on my own. I think the best thing for me now is to get a Back Massage to relax and deal w/ the aches
What do you have to loose? The back massage will either work, or it will not, but you will not know unless you have one. Best of Luck

Pregnant and using massage pillow, is it safe?
I bought a massage pillow yesterday, which i need to soothe my aching lower back. I’ve had this Back Pain since i conceived 12 weeks ago. It uses batteries and vibrates each time i touch it with my back, it feels so good and relieving but i don’t know if the vibration is good for the unborn baby.
Yes, it’s perfectly safe. Your baby is well-insulated and well-padded, and it would take a level of vibration that is uncomfortable to you before your baby would be affected. Enjoy.
