please help me physics problem?

A sonar generator on a ship produces periodic ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 2 MHz. The wavelength of the waves in sea water is 4.6 · 10-4 m. When the generator is directed downward, an echo is received 17 s later. How deep is the ocean in m?

I did 2*(4.6*10^-4) then time 17 but still doesn’t work…

A sonar generator on a ship produces periodic ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 2 MHz. The wavelength of the waves in sea water is 4.6 • 10-4 m. When the generator is directed downward, an echo is received 17 s later. How deep is the ocean in m?

Velocity = frequency * wave length
v = 2* 10^6 * 4.6 * 10^-4 = 920 m/s

The wave traveled down a distance d and back up a distance d.
Total distance = 2 * d

Distance = velocity * time
2 * d = 920 * 17

d = 920 * 17 ÷ 2

d = 7820 m

What is cool mist humidifiers frequency in ultrasonic band?

What dose frequency change water into steam? for example: 50 KHz or 1 MHz or … .

As the name implies, cool mist humidifiers produce a cool mist (not steam) by use of a piezoelectric transducer (also called ultrasonic generator or piezoelectric transformer or atomizer). This is an electromechanical device something like a speaker, but can operate at much higher frequencies. For this purpose, they are available in frequencies of 1.7MHz, 2.0MHz and 2.4MHz. You can read about how they work at the ref. below.
