Gravity Massage
Why does my stomach always start to growl, every time I lay on my back?

I don’t know if it’s a gravity issue, but every time I lay on my back, my stomach starts to growl uncontrollably. Most of the time, in 3 or 4 second intervals. No matter if I’m hungry, or full, it will always do this!

Not when I’m laying on my side or stomach, but on my back.

It really is starting to bother me! Especially in massage class when I’m a demo for an hour, and my stomach is the loudest thing you can hear.

Any ideas? thanks!

I’m surprised you don’t know this answer!

Stomach growling is part of the relaxation mechanism. It’s a signal that the parasympathetic nervous system has been engaged. Chances are you’re only laying on your back in massage class, or when you’re relaxing.

You’ll find this quite common when you’re out of school and actively working as a massage therapist!

Is this ok for your body?

Ok, we just got this new shower head and it’s pretty powerful on some levels, if you put your feet under it for a while then move them they start to tingle because of the pressure and gravity. So I decided to lay down and put the bottom of my feet under it to massage them, it felt amazing, after a little bit they started to vibrate, and after a little longer they started to shake crazily, it felt like I was on an old wahing machine.
So my questions are:
Is all that pressure ok for your body?
What is the shaking and is that ok?
What is that tingling?

Thx

IDK.
