What are the pros and cons of indoor versus outdoor spas?
Indoors: convenient; but smelly, noisey, humid…and ugly unless in ground (and difficult to service in the ground plus $$$$ install). problem if they leak, how are you going to drain it to clean it? If wood, smell of oiling the wood or staining every few years.
Outdoors: nice to be outside and let the fumes (ozone and any chemical) pass away into the sky, watch the stars or snow fall on your head, inconvenient unless right by bedroom door, animals can get under and chew your wires….a quick death for them and yet another service call, easier to clean outside, leaks aren’t an immediate crisis, question of privacy, sun damage/hail damage to cover, need to stain the wood portions more often. Noise of pumps, filters isn’t a bother outside.
