What part is the casing to keep transmission oil from leaking in a kx85?
My friend’s bike is leaking transmission oil its a 2002 kx85 and hes looking for a part. He told me it’s the casing that keeps the oil from leaking. Which part is that?
There are two places the transmission oil can be leaking from.
1. The right side case cover. This cover houses his clutch. This is the easy one to fix. All you do is drain the transmission oil, take the side case cover off, scrape off any old gasket material and put a new gasket on.
2. Center case: The center case joint is the hardest to fix. This one requires that you actually “split the case”. You will have to pull the engine out of the bike to do this. Remove the side panels, remove the seat, remove the gas tank, drain the radiator, drain the oil, remove the carb (you can leave it connected to the throttle cable), remove the exhaust pipe, disconnect the chain, disconnect the clutch lever cable, disconnect the wiring harness, disconnect the radiator hoses, remove the engine mounting bolts and pull the engine out of the frame. Once the engine is out of the frame you will need to take off the cylinder head, the cylinder, remove both side case covers, remove the counter shaft sprocket, remove the kickstarter, remove the magneto, remove the clutch basket, remove the case bolts and separate the cases (laying the engine on the magneto side). Once the cases are separated, remove any of the old gasket that is on the case halves, replace the gasket and then reassemble.
Now there is a possibility that one of his cases could be cracked. If this is the case, he will have to purchase a new case half and then go to #2.
Good luck and have fun.

How to extract oil from seeds and stuff?
I want to take oil from almonds and castor beans but i dont know how. Can i just blend or crush them?
It takes a press and incredible pressure to extract oil and cannot normally be done in a home environment unless you have invested in some high tech machinery.
