What happens if a kitten ingests T-tree oil?
I was looking at natural remedies for ear mites and ear infections on the internet and one site said to use warm olive oil and t-tree oil. My kitten flicked his ear and got some on his fur and was licking it. Will it make him sick…..
I did it yesterday and today and my kitten is fine, running around like crazy as usual
i would advice u too take to the vet immediately bcz we r talking bout a kitten…. not even a full grown cat. plz take it seriously. let me tell u a real story which i hope will make u take this situation seriously.
bout 12 yrs ago..when i was a girl in school ..i got my 1st kitten which was an adorable brown bundle n was so unique… the crazy kitten loved to play with me n my sister and i have so many memories with that kitten . when he was like 3 months old ..he got this small rash on his neck which spread alittle .n i took him to the vet.now i am talking bout a country like Bangladesh where u dnt have good vets for cats.or atleast in the area i stayed in. the vet gave 2 medicines n told me 2 get back in a few days. WHAT THE STUPID VET DDNT SAY WAS TO C DAT THE KITTEN DOESNT EAT IT. i came home n put the med on his rash n saw he licked it right away . so i put it again n made a cone out of paper n stapled it around her neck (thanx to animal planet i knew dat) but after 15 mints i saw my kitten dizzy and behaving weird. and i thought its playing with me but then when i called my mom i understood what really happened. my kitten fell and it never got the strength to come up…it died within a few hrs…. i stayed up whole night next to it..in the morning my mom took it from me to bury in our garden. its been a long time since this happened. now i have a family of my own. i have a cat whs 9 yrs old ( another crazy specimen) but u know what… i still wish i had my 1st kitten . i wish i could do something at dat moment so it cud still b here. it was very special. so i really hope u take good care of ur cat.thanx if u had the patience to read my story.

Is there any home remedy that can be used for a 16 yr old cat who is constipated and feeling unwell?
She is getting in and out of her litter box every few minutes, yowling, her ears are warmer than usual, uncomfortable, licking her hind end frequently. she means the world to me, i need help making her feel better, please.
if she is yowling, she needs to be taken to the vet.
she may be impacted.
I would not try a home remedy on her at this point, it could be dangerous if you perforated her anus, etc…
she is already in pain, the vet will know what to do, then will give her something preventative for constipation.
my vet said metamucil, but it isn’t working for our cat so far.
