Glow Dark
How do glow in the dark items work?

i am just wondering how do these items work? does they need to absorb a certain amount of light in the day to glow in the dark? by these in mean those glow in the dark stars, stickers all these. if possible, how about those glow sticks? do they work the same?

You are referring to phosphorescence. Phosphorescence is the process by which an object absorbs energy (it can be visible light, invisible light i.e. ultraviolet light, or other forms of radiation) and then re-emits this energy over a prolonged period of time as visible light.

This process is many times confused with flourescence. Flouresence is the process by which an object absorbs energy and immediately re-emits the energy as visible light. As soon as the energy source is removed, the re-emitting of the visible light will stop.

Glow sticks, being a chemical reaction, are not technically phosphorescent.

I want to know how to make a bottle glow in the dark forever?

I got one of the Fuze bottles, and i want to know if there is anyone substance or something that can make it glow in dark or glow forever.

I mean like a glow stick type thing that won’t run out or paint that can be sprain on inside to allow it to glow in dark.

well know they have glow in the dark spray paint so you can look in stores i would check a spencer store..or if you have a black light put water in it and get a highlighter and pull out it the ink bag and cut it open and let the ink drip in the water and keep your black light on…but check spencer stores they have it or they have paint pens well they look like bingo markers and they have colored ones…or check stores for the glow in the dark spray paint since it is around halloween well after it they might have it on sale
