Is the sharper image ionic breeze with ionic guard still dangerous?
Awhile back, there was a big hype about the ionic breeze producing ozone which is very hazardous to our health. But now they come with these new “ozone guards.” I was thinking of buying one for my mom, but of course I wouldn’t want her to submit her to ozone. Does anyone have factual evidence that these things are safe? Or should I just go with a noisey hepa filter?
No, even with the catalyst (ozone guard), it still emits a significant amount of ozone.
