Just wondering if anyone has a tattoo in this area and how much did it hurt compared to your other tattoos? I don’t mean on the side of your leg between the 2 places i mean on the actual back.. between your ankle and mid-calf.

I know four women who have tattoos there and they say it was not that bad. On a scale of 1-10 they said it was like 7-8, but not all people are the same when it comes to getting tattoos. It is your body, if you want to get a tattoo there than get it. No matter what other people may say about it.

Get a really big beach towel. Depending on the type of massage and the person receiving it you may want ot consider the floor rather than the bed. Keep in mind that oil gets everywhere if you are not careful. A Massage Oil bottle it a very good investment and keeps spills to a minimum

How to make my veins less visible?

My father work as a cook, he works 10 hours each day. I noticed how his veins are more visible than before. I am wondering if anybody knows how to cure it like make it less visible. I thought buying him a foot/calf massager would help. But it seems like is not doing any good. One time this nurse told me I should go to those pharmacy store to buy this thing which is good for his leg. I 4got the name but is this thing for him to wear on his legs to help him with his veins. Does anybody know what is this thing called?

I guess you are talking about compression stockings. They are white and have a toe area cut out to be able to observe toe color and function. The stockings help force venous blood back into circulation and help reduce swelling and the risk of clots.

HOWEVER, they must be worn correctly. If you decide to get these, it might be best to make sure the doc agrees with the purchase, and get a demonstration of how to put them on correctly. The pharmacist (or a nurse) might help with that.

Whats Wrong With My Leg?

There is this spot above my knee where it hurts. I skateboard and everytime i slide my right foot it hurts a little like if I pulled it. This happend to me two months ago but i didnt go to the doctors and i had to wait about three weeks to start skating again without my leg bothering. And im gonna go to the doctors and a massager in a couple of day will it heal if they massage and if they do will it stop bothering forever.

You should really have them check it out and get xrays. My brother plays football and got his leg banged. It was hurting but he just ignored it and felt better after a few days and then it started to hurt again. My mother took him to get checked out and it turns out that his leg had a fracture.

Please get them to check it out so that you will know for sure what is causing the discomfort.

As a cyst is usually a liquid-filled mass while a tumor is a solid core, is it possible to definitively identify between these two objects in an ultrasound? I’d like some empirical answers, but no web links please (I think I’ve read every journal entry that isn’t in JStor already!)

If your US is performed by a tech, legally, they cannot tell you there findings, as they are not licensed to do so…you will get the results in a few days once read by an MD. If you go to an ob/gyn, he will most likely discuss the findings with you after the exam. Yes, it is possible to differentiate between a solid mass and a fluid filled mass on US, they will also be able to tell size and perhaps type of cyst. The echogenicity will show if mass is hollow (cyst) or solid (tumor). They may also find that you have hyperechoic foci within the mass which may indicate a hemorrhagic cyst (meaning red blood cells within cyst). Good luck on your US, and keep in mind that the great majority of ovarian masses are cysts, so try not to worry to much.

When you say “everyone” says it looks like a girl, are they ultrasound techs? If not, then I’d stop worrying. It’s possible the tech is wrong, but you can return the stuff. And the stuff you can’t return, just use. Your baby won’t care if the mobile has airplanes on it. There’s just 3 weeks left — concentrate on this incredible event! It’s the best! Good luck to you.
