I had almost 10 gigs of music (2,500) songs on a portable hard drive and I lost it all. How can I get it back?
I wanted to make a clone of my laptop’s hard drive on my portable Maxtor OneTouch Mini III 100 gig hard drive so I used this program called CloneDisk to do it. I already had 10 gigs of music on the portable hd but I didn’t think my songs would deleted if I did the cloning, but unfortunately they were. Is there a way I can do some kind of unformat or restore on the portable HD to get it back to how it was before I did all that? Thanks

How much is it to get a USB 2 port on a portable hard drive fixed?
The port on my Maxtor OneTouch Mini III isn’t working anymore. It is over a year, and they are not covering it under warranty.
probably be cheaper just to buy a new portable hard drive.
