Does everything in my carry on bag need to be in clear plastic bags, or only the liquids?
It is my understanding that you only need to put the liquids, gels, etc. in the 1 qt. bag. Otherwise you can pack your carry on bag as usual with your makeup and aspirin, etc. in your makeup case. Is this correct?
Here in Europe liquids are limited to 100ml per container and no more containers than would fit in a one-litre plastic bag.
Everything else I double bag and put in the hold.
This rule however has not been relaxed with respect to travel in or out of the US. It is still a Zero policy.
As of yet no problem with small amounts of basic counter drugs or authorised prescriptions.

What are some good things to bring in a carry-on bag?
I am flying across the country next week, and I was just looking for some advice as to what to put in my carry-on bag. Any idea’s?
