I just got a used Kirby G3 vacuum with no attachments. Which attachments are worth getting?
I bought a G3 for $10 at a garage sale, it didn’t come with ANY parts or attachments, and I had never heard of Kirby vacuums before. I am very impressed with how well it works. Now I am wondering if it is worth buying attachments for it. (I know there are lots of Kirby attachments on Ebay)
Kirby owners, please be honest, which attachments do you actually use? … the shampooer? the sander? the Head Massager?
I’ve had my Kirby g3 for 17 years and to be honest the only attachments I use are the hose and little brush to vacuum the furniture with. I’ve used the carpet shampooer a few times, it scrubs good but doesn’t suck up the water. I’ve never ever used the attachment to blow up balloons, nor the paint sprayer thing. I think you would be fine just getting the hose and the little brush that goes on the end. My vacuum still works as good as new. I’ve never had to have it repaired or rebuilt.=)
