Hi guys is a career in Massage Therapy a bad career choice health wise because your going to wear out your hand at a young age and possibly get arthritis? Serious answers
It is very taxing physically, but as long as you take care of your body, you’ll be able to do it for a long time. Use good posture, don’t hyperextend your wrists or fingers, stay in good physical shape, strengthen the muscle groups you use most often and their antagonists, set a good daily limit for giving treatments and don’t compromise it, and get regular massages yourself.

Should you tip when you get massage using health insurance at the Dr. office?
Do you tip when you get massage with health insurance at the Dr. office? I mean I know you do at the spa, but what about at the Dr? The insurance company is getting soaked for most of the bill…so do you tip or not? I am getting a hour massage tomorrow, medically written for for by my DC, and I am not sure what to do at the end.
no tip;; it’s a medical treatment…& only one tool to resolve your symptoms;; you wouldn’t tip for a cold pack
