Can someone please tell me what the name of this machine is?

I went to a cosmetologist and she did a cellular repair on my face with some machine, and it really helped my acne. It has metallic balls at the edge of each of the two handles. One ball is smaller than the other. As she held one to a certain point on my face she massaged the rest of my face with the bigger metallic ball. As she did this I felt an electric current. Can anyone tell me what the name of this machine is?

I just got a used Kirby G3 vacuum with no attachments. Which attachments are worth getting?

I bought a G3 for $10 at a garage sale, it didn’t come with ANY parts or attachments, and I had never heard of Kirby vacuums before. I am very impressed with how well it works. Now I am wondering if it is worth buying attachments for it. (I know there are lots of Kirby attachments on Ebay)
Kirby owners, please be honest, which attachments do you actually use? … the shampooer? the sander? the Head Massager?

I’ve had my Kirby g3 for 17 years and to be honest the only attachments I use are the hose and little brush to vacuum the furniture with. I’ve used the carpet shampooer a few times, it scrubs good but doesn’t suck up the water. I’ve never ever used the attachment to blow up balloons, nor the paint sprayer thing. I think you would be fine just getting the hose and the little brush that goes on the end. My vacuum still works as good as new. I’ve never had to have it repaired or rebuilt.=)

I’m looking for something decent (I don’t care if it’s perfect) to scratch me the 300$ a paint shop wants to do it. How much paint do I need? Where is a cheap place to buy paint to do my full body kit? It’s for a full body kit for 1998 chevrolet malibu. Also, what’s wrong with laying a body kit flat before painting it? have the paint shop do it you’ll spend 300 bucks on the material to do it right.You need primer paint clear sandpaper tack rag compressor spray gun and then if you mess something up you get to do it all again

How can I relieve the tension on the right side of my neck/shoulder area?

The right side of my neck and shoulder are so tense. I have anxiety issues so I know this is from stress. I stretch every night before I sleep but I’m pretty sure I’m doing the wrong stretches because the pain hasn’t gotten better. What stretches do you suggest? And what are some better positions to sleep in?? (I’m a back sleeper)

Whenever I lift (starts at about 30-40 pounds) I get a pain between my neck and shoulder blade. It’s not unbearable, but it bothers me enough to make me stop lifting. Should I just stop lifting for a few weeks or go see a doctor?

Your professor was trying to lead you into a discussion of what is called archetype. Read the stories but read them looking for ways that each goddess gives birth to something, some idea or some event. Goddesses are goddesses not gods because they have the quality of having a womb and being able to give birth. Some of them actually have children and some just give birth in a metaphorical sense but that is what your professor is looking for. Hope that gets you on the right path.

alright… so im going to school for massager therapy, anyhow.. so what is the difference between, registered and certified? like i know certified you have to have 60 college credits but working places wise whats the differnces?

Being registered or certified depends on what state you are in or maybe you are in a different country??

Certified usually just means you passed the school test and requirements. Anyone can give a certification.

If someone is registered there were probably some other education or experience requirements.

I just want to know wich Ultrasound Massager is better, 1 Mhz or 5 Mhz, for therapy. I’m confused because in a internet page I found that 1 Mhz works deeper than 3 Mhz, so in more Mhzs, is less deep???

Well, I’m not a chiropractor, but I can certainly answer this question.

It is true, the LOWER the frequency, the deeper the penetration. 1 Mhtz is the deepest you want to go for theraputic applications. This will generally reach up to 5 cm deep. It is good over tissues that are very bulky such as a thick muscle. It should not be used over a prominent area such as the point of the shoulder because there is not enough tissue to absorb the ultrasound and you can cause damage to the bone.

Higher frequencies are good for shallow areas…3 Mhtz reaches a maximum of 1 cm deep and is good for superficial tissues.

In general though…don’t waste your money because most of the ultrasound machines on the internet either don’t go deep enough or do not carry enough power to have theraputic purposes (most only offer a power of 0.5 W/cm2). This is because it should only be used by a trained professional.
