Ultrasound techs help me please or ne body that can.?
I had an ultrasound done at 17 weeks. I asked to know the sex…we saw something in between the legs we saw it twice looked like a turtle. But my tech said it could still be a girl….help me please any ideas or anybody have the same thing happen to them.
Usually they want you to be closer to 20 weeks before they can definitively determine gender. That way the parts are CLEARLY developed, as both sex organs begin by looking roughly the same way.
Don’t bank on the fact that it’s a boy. Buy things in green and yellow no matter what anyone tells you you’re having. The only perfect way to determine gender is childbirth!

How can you distinguish the tissues on an ultrasound image?
On ultrasound images that are taken of the human body, how can you distinguish the tissue from everything else!!
Thanks
The Density show up in the picture in gray scale.
The darker the gray the more dense the object. each tissue has different sound reflecting property’s.
knowing what the gray scale means allows you to know what your looking at.
