Help creating a “Christmas in a box” type gift for my boyfriend?

We’re (unfortunately) long distance and neither of us can afford to make the trip right now. We haven’t seen each other in months and Christmas is going to be really hard for us to be apart. I want to send him something that will make him smile but also convey how much I’m missing him. He asked specifically for a season of his favourite show on DVD so he knows I’ll be sending that, but I want to send him “Christmas in a box” as a cute, creative surprise along with it.

I’ve already come up with a Christmas card, a tree ornament, a sprig of fake mistletoe and a couple candy canes to put in. What other Christmas items can I send? Nothing perishable, as it’s going from Canada to the US and will take probably a couple weeks.

first of all, i am so sorry to hear you wont be able to be seeing him ): !! i hope you’ll be able to soon.

but for your gift heres some ideas:
a giftcard
a framed picture of you two
a teddy bear
a bracelet? (a manly-ish one)
a t-shirt

hope i helped!

Trying to reduce my clutter hate having to let go of things, would you keep these things?

1. plastic candy cane tubes the ones that are filled with reeces pieces candy and are sold at x mas time.

2. Boxes to souvenirs such as music boxes.

3. Boxes to electronics such as dvd players. The dvd players are way past their warranty time.

4. Battery op waterfall from Walgreens does not work anymore.

5. happy meal toys.

6. party favors from a baby shower, two little paper cartons that held candy with a rattle the size of a penny attached to them.

7. Old pens from business places.

8. Old cell phones.

9. Books about the mormon church that a lady in a chatroom sent me. Never read them, didn’t really ask her to send them to me. Also she mentioned about sending them back after I would read them. This if course after I received them. I could keep the book of mormon which I also never have read.

10. Old calendars.

11. wrapping paper and gift bags from presents that I had received. Kept for sentimental purposes.

Donate cell phones
Give to local library what they may want from list
