Massage Oil
What’s the best type of massage oil?

I recently bought some Flavored Massage oil, but it turned out to be more sticky than smooth. It was a mess, completely ruined the moment. Looking for something that makes it easy to rub without the sticky feeling. Any suggestions?

I am a massage therapist, personally I hate using oil I only use a special Massage Cream. But…if you really want the best then I would recommend you going to massagewarehouse.com. Plenty of oils to choose from, Biotone and Soothing FX are the best brands in my opinion. And it is not very expensive either. Store brands, esp flavored and scented will get sticky and dry up very quickly….trust me on this one go to the website!! Hope this helps! :)

How do you make cooking oil into massage oil?
Somebody said to heat it up.
I want it to be lighter.

Canola cooking oil is quite light in texture and does not need to be heated. The best massage oil I have found is to use Neutrgena Sesame oil (called Body Oil) Olive oil is way too thick and heating will not help. Other cooking oils will leave the person smelling like cooking oil. Canola is a fine cooking oil and can be enhanced by adding dried rose petals to the oil and allowing the oil to age for a few weeks. I have used this mixture for a long time and everyone loves how it makes them feel. The rose petals remove the cooking oil smell and lighten the oil.
