Do you own anything made out of flannel?
I have flannel sheets. I would be very sad in the winter time without my flannel sheets. 
I own flannel shirts, a flannel jacket and a flannel blanket. Lol. I just so happen to love flannel.

Is there a secret to keeping microfiber and flannel sheets soft like the first time you use them?
I just fell in LOVE with microfiber sheets. I’m dreading washing them because I’m afraid they’ll pile and lose their softness. What are the best detergents/softeners for them? Flannel, too.
I’ve heard that using softener can stop the absorbancy of your towels but I would just stick to a well known brand rather than something cheap. And try not to wash them on a harsh wash and if you have an airing cupboard dry them in there opposed to a tumble drier or clothes line.
