How do I get rid of a kank in my neck?

I have a terrible pain in the left side of my neck and I cannot get rid of it.I have only had it for one day but I have school and sports which makes it a big deal..How can I get rid of it without having to buy any specialtys..like a massager…etc..

I had a broke neck, I can give you some home tips. Use a heating pad, Deep Heat rubs & the best thing is take a hand towel get it wet, microwave it till warm/ hot and wrap that around your neck. There are also slow L-R & up -down slow head turning exercises to help loosen you up. These have helped me, I hope you can benefit from them too. The deep heat rub, try to get some Bio-Freeze it’s the best & icy hot is real good too. Hope this helps you.
