The beginning of a human life is conception, nine months before we are born. During those months our body is formed and develops so we can survive on our own. Once we are born we enter into a phase of growing and learning, and much of the quality of our lives is during this period.

When we are grown we become productive people and this is where we become useful. If an average life span is 75 years we have 50 years during which we are truly useful and productive people. Then our bodies fail us and we die. Some don’t make it to 75 and some live well beyond that age.

When our lives end our bodies shut down, we turn cold and we die.

This is the physical aspects of life. Between the time we are born and the time death comes for us we have a chance to achieve great things, to become productive people, to bring children into this world and to touch other lives. We can enjoy happiness and bring happiness to others.

Why are we born if this is how we have to go? Why not? Isn’t life worth something more than a warm body? I would fight for every moment of life I have been given and I would fight to make that available to my children, my wife, my loved ones, my parents and my friends.

As a Christian, I hope there is something waiting for me on the other side after I die, and maybe that something will be even better than this was. But this has been pretty good. I have lived 69 years. I hope for quite a few more years before my body turns cold, but when it does, I want to go out knowing my life was worth a hell of a lot more than a cold stiff corpse at its end.

i saw and tried one in mexico this man gave me these two metal rods that had wires which connected them to a box
he turned it on and it shocked me but kinda felt like a really strong massager
he kept turning the strength nob to make the shocker stronger and he told me to act like i was boxing and to tell him to stop when i couldnt handle it any more
he wasnt selling it but he did charge for every time anyone tried

Do electric massagers actually tone muscles?

My friend bought this $100 dollar Electric Massager from EliKing (the brand I suppose) because the lady that sold it to him told him it would tone up his muscles. she mentioned abs and 6 pack and he was sold instantly. Because he’s pretty dumb, all he could get it to do was shock the hell out of him. he let me have it and I’m using it the right way, and it feels pretty cool regardless. I’m wondering though if it actually is doing anything to my muscles at all, toning them or defining them or whatever. does anyone know about this thing or if electric massagers actually tone muscles?

I’m no scientist, but I doubt it. “Toning muscles” is basically just shedding off fat and building up muscle so that it shows through the skin. Maybe, on the odd chance, just maaaaaybe, these things do actually build some degree of muscle. But I doubt that sitting around while these things massage you burns any fat.

Electrical massagers probably only work (and of course they won’t say so in the ads) if you keep to a healthy diet and exercise daily. But hey, why pay a hundred bucks when you can just do that instead?

I’m not as up to date as I used to be but there’s not any one particular software used to create these sites. It’s a combination of several different apps. Flash is the most prominently used design tool but there’s dreamweaver, php (language), Adobe’s PageMaker, assorted Macromedia tools, too.

I have seen somewhere – but can’t remember where heavy duty green garden trellis 6′x6′ panels with the slats about 3/4″ square. I think they may be made of recycled plastic. Can anyone help?
The trellis holding up my clematis can rotted and crumbled under the weight so I did a very heavy cut back last weekend, but I need to find a replacement that can take the weight and won’t rot.

How do i know if I sprained or fractured my heel/ankle/back of foot?

I was playing baseball and i came running home and landed awkwardly on home plate to avoid a last ditch tag. Right away after scoring my foot hurt and became pretty swollen along the side/back of foot primarily the heel and ankle. It hurts to walk and move it and it is bruised. Any way to know if it is fractured or sprained?

The only way to tell for sure is an x-ray. Otherwise someone’s just guessing. If it’s a hairline fracture it may not show up on x-ray and there’s no actual treatment besides support.

I had a broke neck, I can give you some home tips. Use a heating pad, Deep Heat rubs & the best thing is take a hand towel get it wet, microwave it till warm/ hot and wrap that around your neck. There are also slow L-R & up -down slow head turning exercises to help loosen you up. These have helped me, I hope you can benefit from them too. Can human beings make ultrasonic sounds? (with vocal cords)?

I had the idea that perhaps there is a way to emit such sounds by straining the vocal cords as to make a high pitch whining sound, and then pushing a bit further up. You arrive to a point where there is no audible sound, but the air is still passing through. I had the impression I was producing ultrasonic sounds when I saw the reaction of my cat. (or was he just reacting to the flushing expression on my face?)

interesting observations….a very good question indeed…but to strain the vocal chords to such an extent is in the “impossible” catagory for average humans…but in the world there is probably someone who can do it…maybe that someone is you!

House wide spider elimination suggestions?

I live in southeastern Wisconsin (USA) and have recently been over-run by spiders. I know they do more good than harm, but walking my face into webbing while trying to get to the coffee pot first thing in the AM means they have to go!
Since I’m going to be re-carpeting the entire house the first week of August, I thought that would be the ideal time to also attack the spider problem.
Does anyone have any experience with any of the ‘bug bombs’ or any other spider eliminators that are on the market? Could you please let me know what you thought of their effectiveness? Or any other great ideas?
Also, I have five house rabbits…I’m leery of using any of the ‘ultrasonic’ devices since I’m not sure how THEY would react to it. (The bunnies are going to the sitters while I do the carpet – they’ll be gone for a week so I can set off bombs if that’s the method that works the best).

The bug bombs work great. Just make sure you get enough to ensure every room is covered or exposed to the bomb. Also make sure you leave them undisturbed for at least the recommended time. I am sure you already know to air out throughly (after treatment) and cover anything you do not want exposed (food stuffs; yours and your pets).
I agree with your reluctance to use the ultrasonic devices. Animals cannot tell us when they are in discomfort and I would rather err on the side of safety.^

I’m vegetarian, looking to go vegan if i can get away with it.
I don’t eat junk food really at all…
But I have a sweet craving right now.
Does anyone know any vegan or vegetarian snacks that are low calorie and healthy but will also cure a sweet craving?

try a sweet fruit like cherries grapes strawberry or watermelon. also if you have a blender take some ice any fruit (sugary fruit like strawberry raspberry or blackberry are really good in this) and a splash of juice (ane one of your choice) blend. take it out and put it in a cup and you have sorbet! i dont know if it will trun out like one because i jsut the magic bullet to make this but a blender should work to. then pop some fresh fruit on top and dig into a healthy low cal sweet snack:)

why am i always craving sweet things?

Hi I am 19 weeks pregnant and I keep craving sweet things. When I was pregnant last time I always wanted salty things and I wasn’t sick. This time I crave sweet and I am sick a lot. Does this mean its likely I’m going to have a girl? Also I have been REALLY thirsty ALL the time for sweet drinks such as iced tea and lemonade. I even have dreams about these drinks and wake up thirsty. Is this normal?

Yeah I know how that feels, I am craving for sweets big time. I am almost 35 weeks but I start craving sweets around 28 weeks. I don’t know why, but just can’t stay away from the sweets…Lol
