What’s the gear guard that protect your right pant leg/calf on a bicycle called?
It’s a plastic or metal guard that is screwed (5 screws on mine) to the largest gear. Some bicycles come with the and others do not. It protects my right leg pants from getting caught it the largest gear and tearing my pant leg.
It’s circular (fitting over the largest gear) and it’s NOT a chain guard.
actually, this piece is infact called a chain guard.

I have a pain in the lower back part of my left thigh going down into my calf leg, it’s very annoying.?
For the last few days I have had this pain in the back of my left thigh shooting down into my calf leg. It feels like my hamstring, but I haven’t done anything besides walk on the treadmill at the gym. What could it possibly be?
