black light and heat pad for my leopard gecko?
should i leave both the heat pad and black light on overnight for my leopard gecko? the light is called a moonlight on the box, and it looks like a black light.
If you have a terrarium/aquarium that is large enough I would say you should be leaving the heat pad on and placing it on the right (or left) half of your terrarium/aquarium and putting your black light over that same half. Then the Gecko will have half a tank of warmed area and half a tank of room temp, cooler area and it will just have to move a little to get into the temp its seeking. Also then you won’t have to worry about overheating b/c the gecko can move away from it.
