What reel should i get for my Ugly stik 5′ ultra light spinning rod?
Experienced trout fisherman this would be landing anything from 1 to 4 or 5 pounds. I already have some ideas but lookng for more options.
Well, I have an Ugly Stick 5’ UL with a Garcia Mitchell 308 UL with 4# test. I have used this combo, and several more using the Garcia Mitchell 300 series reels (I am a fan) for maybe 30 years. Unfortunately the reel is no longer available new retail but I’ve seen quite a few on EBay. Nothing like UL fishing, even the little ones feel like big’uns. Good luck.
