What are some toys you played with as a kid that kids don’t play with any more?
I used to spend hours playing electronic football — you know, with the vibrating board and the little guys. It would take forever to set up each play. Now with Madden, why would a kid do that.
Any toys you liked as a kid that aren’t around much anymore?
I used to play with Merlin, it was the red box with all the buttons and multi-games, oh fun times…Skip Bo and hula hoops, pogo sticks, roller skates…A lot are coming out again though, carebears, cabbage patch dolls….

Guitar strings vibrating when not played?
Whenever I slide or sometimes hammer-on/pull-off on (whatever) string, another string always seems to oscillate. I played it carefully and I didn’t touch the other string, but it played anyway. Sliding from the 8th to 10th on the B made the G string ring and it sounds blurry because of it. Would this be due to an extremely cheap guitar (Starcaster, woot) or does this happen to you guys at all? I can’t imagine it does…

Learn to muffle other strings while playing. I don’t mean muffling with the picking hand either. You can pick notes and mute with the other fingers to produce a clean sound.
