what is a facial from a salon?
When i go to the salon i c it says u can get facials but i know they make ur skin nice but how. Like what chemicals please explain thanx
Most of them use ordinary products to do their thing. They only make it seem fancy to take our money. There are better natural ways to do at home facials, there are a lot of examples on youtube

What is actually done when you get a facial?
What procedures are involved in your usual salon facial? Are there options?
1.Cleansing(of mascara,then face with a cleansing lotion).
2. Exfoliation(use of products with scrubby granules in them).
3.Steam(but not for acne,or broken skin)
4.Extraction(whiteheads, blackheads)
5.Mask(application of mask specifically for your skin type)
6. Massage(very light massage for oily or combination skin,none for acne,and a nice long one for normal and dry skin)
7.Tone(use of toner to balance the ph of the skin)
This is the basic facial.There are specialized facials,which you pay more,but are really good for your skin.There are aromatherapy facials(the best)in which they use real Essential Oils for your skin type.
