What is THE BEST Foot Massager?

I now work a job where I walk most of my 8 hours (16 if on overtime) and my feet are killing me!~ As a result, my back hurts too, you know how that goes! I don’t care if it uses water, electric, etc… and I don’t mind spending a desent amount of money as long as the product works. Any suggestions???

I pamper myself and go to have a pedicure done. It isn’t about the painted toe nails, it’s about the massage and care of my feet. They also have a Massage Chair for your back so it is like double duty! Of course it may not be feasible to do it real often. I go about once a month. I don’t know what kind of shoes you can wear at your job, but I would look into getting some Saucony shoes. They take any impact off of your heel and your back will thank you too! I wear them while going on 5 mile walks and when I stand at my machine all day long. The best investment that I have ever made! I am sending you the link. Is there a self-tanning lotion that won’t make me look like I rolled around in a bag of cheese curls?

Everything I use leaves streaks or makes me a strange hue of orange. With past cancer history – I don’t want to use a tanning salon…and fair skinned (and I freckle) I don’t care to SUN either..I don’t go out without a high sun-block on…but?…is there not one great self-tanner someone can recommend? That won’t leave streaks or leave me orange.

Jergen’s Natural Glow is pretty great, if you have the patience and the time. It’s a lotion with some self-tanner in it, but because it’s not full-on self-tanner it takes a good week of steady use to really show results, so if you need to get tan for, say, a date tonight, this wouldn’t be what you want. But if you have the time, it’s good stuff, because when it does start to show up it looks very, very natural and not at all streaky or orangey. Plus, they have different levels available depending on your skin tone (fair, medium, dark).

Why is it so hard to find Black Beauty Shops or Good Beauticians who do African American Hair??

I actually have had a really hard time finding someone to do my hair. I read on here some others are having the same issues. It seems that many Black Hair Care Providers can be very rude, nasty, and MOODY. They don’t show up for appts. They want to do more than one person’s head at the same time. The don’t manage time well. Some act jealous when your hair gets or is LONG and they will want to CUT the hair saying its damaged. Whereas I’ve been in salon’s where my partner goes to get his hair colored (WHITE Clients/Staff) They offer you Coffee, Lates, Cappucinos, Bottled Water shampoo/conditioner samples in small gift bags. Their salons are very, very clean they sell good products that help the hair grow. They are very timely and you don’t have to wait forever or all day even for EXTENSIONS.
If you are not apart of the BLACK click they mess up your hair. I

Without checking it, it is impossible to get the best treament. Sounds like an infection with extension to the lymph node. If so, antibiotics are the answer. Get it checked.

What can I do about a blister on my arm?

I feel asleep while using a heated Back Massager abd when I woke up I had a blister the size of a raisen on my arm. It basically looks like stretched skin bubbled up but half of it looks deflated. What do I do I’ve never had a blister before?
I’m going to the doctor tomorrow. Should I just leave it alone and ask about it then?

Make sure to wash it with cold soap and water. Put a bandaid on it so the open sore doesn’t get infected. It should be okay. If it looks worse than a simple burn get it checked out by the doctor. Aloe will help prevent scarring.

Okay so i’m 2 months pregnant and I went skating with my family and friends today. I was skating with some friends when my cousin and little brother came up behind me. My little brother pushed me then my cousin pushed me and I fell and hard. I hit the ground really really hard. Now i’m at home and my back hurts. It was killing me earlier but I had my mom use a heat massager on my back and it made it feel a little better. I was wonder could my fall have did anything to my baby? I am looking for a dining room table and chairs and have been looking in furiture stores. How set are they with their prices? Is it common to be able to negotiate a price in a store like this? Maybe go from $700 down to $650?

Anything is negotiable, in my book. You will never know unless you ask, so you have absolutely nothing to lose.

Most furniture salespeople work on a commission basis. Call the furniture store in advance and find this information out first. If it is a commission sales floor, and the salesperson feels like this is the only way to make a sale, they will give you a price break and just take a smaller commission. The economy is competitive these days and I would certainly try to get a price break. The discount price you are asking for is not at all unreasonable. Go for it.

I need to make a time line of things so I stay on track. I know things can and will change so I’m looking to make a month-by-month time line.

In the end all of these things depend on where you are getting married and how big the wedding is going to be. In big cities things can book up a year or two in advance. In regualr cities I always say about a year on the venue (that is the MOST important thing for planning)

For invitations – order them about 6 months ahead and send them out about 2-3 months ahead (4 months max)

Cake should be ordered about 6 months ahead if you are going to a baker. If you are making it (which can be VERY stressful) then plan to do that around 2 days before the event, and you will need a refridge to keep it in.

Dress should be ordered 6 months ahead (I ordered mine April 1st and it isn’t even to be shipped from the designer until July, so give yourself time)

Bridesmaids dresses can be done 4 or 5 months prior to the date (depending on your bridal salon)

Menu should also be about planned about 6 months prior, but will be actually set in stone about 2 weeks prior, which is when you should plan to get your RSVP cards back.

My best advice is to go onto a website and get a timeline from them…

You may have to get an E-collar (those lovely lampshades) to prevent him from getting “to” the area to lick it. They are making new e-collars that are inflatable that look more like a donut for your dog. They are easier on your legs when your dog runs into you!

Help! My dog licked up some hot chocolate on the carpet then bit me! Will he be okay?

My dog is a 12 year old small breed. I spilled hot chocolate then did not realise he was licking the carpet until a few minutes! As I was pulling him away he bit me (he has never attempted to or bitten me before and is up to date on rabies and other shots. It broke skin but did not bleed. ) I grabbed nearest blanket and put over head and sent him to his crate. Will he be okay?

You got 3 bad answers out of 4! How sad! That little bit of hot chocolate won’t hurt him a bit, and you did the right thing by putting him in his crate, even if you had to put a blanket over him to do it. I would do some training exercises with food to teach him that he can’t have it until you say so. He’ll be just fine!

i would imagine any where that is a professional salon would treat you and your brother to what ever treatments you wanted,,,,i work in a hairsalon attatched to a beauty spa, and know that on occasion we have had transexuals and cross dressers wanting treatment,,,,, not a problem,,, a professional salon should be just that!!!
