Sounds like it! Diarrhea is very common right before or at the start of labor because your body naturally kind of cleans itself out to allow the baby to pass through more easily. Lower back pain is also very common, depending on how the baby is lying. Just be sure to pay attention to contractions that get consistently stronger and closer together, and of course if your water breaks call your doc or go in right away. Good luck!

why cant you walk when your foot/leg is asleep?

I jumped out of the car and hit the ground, because i didn’t realize my foot was asleep. it didn’t sting, or hurt. it just felt dead. i tried to get up and keep walking but kept on stumbling and falling down. i had to lean on the car to wait for the feeling to come back.

There would be more to it than just a small business start up. What would be my first steps?
Would a franchise be the way to go or something of my own?

Create a Business Plan before you do anything: Many on line sites and books on how to write a business. Most businesses fail in thier first year because the owners do not have all of the skills they need to be successful also because the owners did not realize howmuhc money they were going to need (remember you have to live while your business grows)

Research other spas in the area. Find out where they are, what they offer, how much they charge. Talk to some of the owners – most will talk to you about their business.

Many colleges have classes in small business – may take a class. Learn accounting and finance – learn Marketing and Sales.

Assess your strengths and weaknesses – be honest – if your weak in an area like accounting, you will need an accountant to help you.

Check into what local licenses you will need. There is a million details to work through – amke a list of everything you can think of – read books about small business.

It is not easy but can be very rewarding.

I realised that to fit this box into another box (Post office says I can’t ship the box with product info and advertising all over it) I’ll need a pretty big box and it’s going to cost me a lot more than I thought it would.

the arches in my feet hurt?

After a couple weeks, my arches start to get a little swollen and just ache. If I stay off of them when they get like this, and get up to say…get a glass of water they hurt SO bad to walk on!
I have this foot massager that gets warm. I use that for about an hour or so and they feel great afterwards. Swelling goes down, etc. Then it gets bad again in 5-7 weeks.

What can you do? Ideally see a podiatrist to check if you need orthotics to correct any structural issues in your feet.

But things for free or on the cheap as you have no health cover:
* Stretch the ligaments in your calves (repeat for weeks / months) – eases the stress on the ligaments in the foot as they are pulled upwards.
* If you are over-weight try to lose some weight – less stress on the feet and ligaments.
* wear supportive shoes with arch supports – but make sure the arch supports have a soft cushioned top on them – add a inner-sole to your shoes. If the plantar fasciitis ligament is really tight, it will just hurt more if pressed directly against an arch support – so allow it some space to stretch while your arch is still supported.

How to clean nylon cushions?

I recently found an old rocking chair in my parent’s attic. They said I could have it, but I wanted to clean it before use. It’s wooden, but has nylon cushions on the seat, the back, and on the ottoman. The chair’s at least 15 years old, and has been in the attic (exposed to cold and heat) for about a decade. I was wondering how to clean it while causing as little damage as possible. I would also like to clean the wood, but I’m not sure what kind of wood it is; or if that even matters.

Best bet is to use a carpet cleaner with upolstery attachments. Nylon will not stain, as a rule, so keep it light (do not soak cushions! If all the dirt doesn’t come up the first time, repeat after the cloth has dried from the first round. The rocker has a finish on it, so a damp rag should clean up the wood part. Use only water on the cushions…soapy solutions will attract dirt after it dries. Good luck

Nope. Hair is dead. Cutting a dead hair does not affect the live follicle in any way.

Hair can LOOK thicker as it grows in after shaving, but that’s just because it’s all one length and bristly from being shaved. And that’s not likely to be relevant to you anyway if all you have is peach fuzz.

Your facial hair will come in on its own schedule, regardless of whether you shave or not.

Where Can I Find a Hot Water Pillow?

I recently had a massage and when I got onto the table, there was a “hot water pillow” about the size of a throw pillow on the table. My best friend has cancer, and is in tremendous pain – particularly her lower back. I immediately thought of this hot water pillow for her – its not thick like a regular pillow, and the buoyancy of the water may be soothing for her. I’ve searched the internet and am coming up with nothing. Does anyone have any idea where I can find something like this? Thanks so much for your answers. I appreciate it.

sounds like something that would help me too. i would call a local hospital equipment store and ask them about it, or call where u got the massage and ask where they are being sold.

i sure hope you can find one. sorry about your friend having cancer. i am surprized that they dont have one of those special water mattresses for your friend…..they are covered my insurance i understand. they really help relieve the pressure and pain and help keep from getting the bed sores from not moving around much.

you can download the photo to a computer by obtaining a data cable – you can then print the photo from the computer.
