okayy so i really need help on my homework, and i know i wasted points but i really need help.
okayy soo.
spongebob notices that his pal, gary the snail is suffering from slimotosis, which occurs when the shell develops a nasty slime and gives off a terrible odor. his friend patrick tells him that rubbing seaweed on the shell is the perfect cure, while his friend sandy says that drinking Dr. Kelp will be a better cure. spongebob decides to test this cure by rubbing garry with seaweed for a week and having him drink Dr. Kelp. after a week of treatment, the slime is gone and gary’s shell smells better.
what is the independent variable??

and what should spongebob’s conclusion be??

here is the problem from my worksheet,i felt sleepy in my science class so i couldnt figure it out

there were two – first the presence/absence of the seaweed massage, second the presence/absence of drinking Dr Kelp.

the condition of poor old Gary’s shell

it is a poor experiment!!! the cure could have been brought about be either the seaweed or the drink, but as they were applied at the same time we will never know. It could even be that the cure for slimotosis required BOTH the seaweed AND the drink.
