Can you substitute a watch or cell battery for 1 AA battery?
I want to build a wireless microphone from a kit that is meant to run on 1 AA battery. In order to minimize the weight of the device, I’d like to run it on a smaller battery like a watch/cell battery. Is there anyway to convert a typical AA connection into a connection that will accept the power of a smaller battery like this? Thanks for your help.
Battery “power” is more than just volts. If the design calls for the power of w normal AA battery, then 1.5 volt watch batteries will probably not let it work, or at least not for very long. You would need to redesign the microphone to operate off lower power batteries.

How much battery life will the thinkpad 14 edge have on a 9 cell battery with an i5 processor?
Trying to decide between the 6 cell or the 9 cell? I want the most battery life I can get and the laptop will be on an i5 processor
All things held constant, the 9-cell battery will have superior battery life compared to the 6-cell.
